A propos du Directeur/Fondateur
PROLAB sahel was created by Mr. Ilyassou Oumarou in February 2018. Ilyassou was born in 1959 and did his primary and secondary studies in Niger. In addition to being an entrepreneur by nature, Mr. Ilyassou holds a doctorate in natural sciences (analytical chemistry) and a doctorate in agricultural sciences (soil and plant analysis). He was a proactive and committed laboratory operations manager with extensive expertise in chemical analysis and exceptional health and safety skills.
He specializes in the design and implementation of soil and plant analysis laboratories and the mining industry, particularly in the exploitation of gold, cobalt and copper. During his 33 years in office, he directed and managed laboratories in Africa, in particular that of the ICRISAT Center Sahélien from 1986 to 2011, various ALS Global laboratories from 2012 to 2014, the SSM laboratory in the DRC from 2014 to 2016 and that of the DAL group in Sudan from 2017 to early 2019.
